GREEN: Twitter used to silence conservatives?

Conservative Chris Loesch, music producer and husband of radio host and CNN contributor Dana Loesch, had his Twitter account suspended on Sunday. He was apparently targeted by leftist users who utilized the "Block & Report Spam" function to trigger the social media account's automatic spam algorithm. He was notified of his suspension via an email from Twitter claiming it was due to multiple unsolicited mentions to other users. "You will need to change your behavior to continue using Twitter," the email admonished.

The White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday night brought out not only media celebrities but also their critics. The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic gathered outside of the Washington Hilton and heckled attendees who walked past them or drove by. The group is known to do this every year for the past 13 WHCD's.

PICKET: Gowdy and Issa - Contempt charge against Holder coming before Memorial Day

Congressman Trey Gowdy, South Carolina Republican, appeared on Fox News Channel's On the Record with Greta Van Susteren Thursday night and said that Attorney General Eric Holder must comply with the subpoena to put forth all the documents relating to the Fast and Furious gun walking operation before Memorial Day or the AG will face contempt charges that have already been drawn up.

PICKET: Another Secret Service scandal surfaces in El Salvador

The Secret Service sex scandal that arose in Cartagena, Colombia is beginning to open doors to other stories of a similar nature. According to Seattle-based Investigative Reporter Chris of KIRO TV, U.S. Secret Service agents regularly bragged about their sexual romps with prostitutes while out of the country on assignment for the president.

PICKET: Nugent responds

The Rock and Roll gun toting guitar legend Ted Nugent became embroiled in a politically incorrect controversy when he told attendees at the National Rifle Association Convention in St. Louis "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year." The U.S. Secret Service met with Mr. Nugent over his remarks and was cleared by the agency. Nugent wrote an op-ed for the Washington Times Opinion Page responding to his critics and the uproar of his comments.

PICKET: Issa expects movement on Holder contempt charge within 'weeks'

Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican and Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has yet to charge Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt of Congress for failing to supply Mr. Issa’s committee with thousands of pieces of documentation relating to the Justice Department’s gun walking operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, Maryland Democrat, did not think that much of Congressman Barney Frank’s remarks to New York Magazine, where the retiring Massachusetts Democrat was critical of the timing of the health care legislation passage.

Jeffrey Neely, the General Services Administration Regional executive who hosted the Western Regions Conference, invoked his Fifth Amendment rights on Monday during questioning from House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa. Mr. Neely left the hearing immediately after the questioning and ran from reporters.
