PICKET: 'Game Change' movie omits vicious Obama-Hillary primary covered in book
Filmmaker Jay Roach's new HBO movie "Game Change" based on the book by political reporters Mark Halperin and John Heileman focused exclusively on the trials and tribulations of the McCain-Palin 2008 presidential campaign and chose to ignore the vicious primary covered in the book between then Senator Barack Obama and then Senator Hillary Clinton. Democrats today are romanticizing the the primary between Obama and Clinton. However, if liberals are so quick to believe the film about the McCain-Palin campaign story, then they should be interested about the other aspects the film omits.

McCain 2008 presidential campaign adviser Nicolle Wallace joined ABC’s This Week on Sunday and discussed the recently released HBO film “Game Change.” The movie, which stars Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and Woody Harrelson as McCain 2008 campaign manager Steve Schmidt is based on the book of the same title explores the McCain-Palin campaign from the reporting of journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

According to reports, a common drug used to treat high blood pressure is believed to also "curb racist thoughts." According to the London Free Press, a new study from the University of Oxford, which was published at the Psychopharmacology journal, claims that people who took the medication known as propranolol "showed less implicit racism — automatic, subconscious bias — than those who took a placebo."
PICKET: Tactics used against Limbaugh and others described in Media Matters strategy docs
The coordinated attacks to pressure advertisers (and now radio stations) to drop Rush Limbaugh is something everyone should be concerned about, as it is no coincidence that the Georgetown University Law Center student Sandra Fluke, the 30 year old woman at the center of the storm (background here), told viewers of ABC’s “The View” to go to the Media Matters website “for examples of commentators who attacked her.”

Mr. Breitbart's passion about his work was infectious and motivated many to speak out about their beliefs, even those who didn't agree with him. Encouraging discourse and the pursuit of truth was one of his most important contributions to the preservation and perpetuation of our national values.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson faced members from a sub-committee of House Energy and Commerce on Wednes regarding her agency's budget request of $8.3 billion dollars for fiscal year 2013. Ms. Jackson's request is part of the Obama administration's $3.8 trillion proposed budget plan.

PICKET: Romney finds footing with primary wins
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney secured two primary wins on Tuesday night. In Arizona, a state Romney was expected to win and where his opponents did not spend valuable campaign time in, he received 43 percent of the GOP primary vote and all 29 delegates in the winner take all state. Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was a distant second with 28 percent. Both former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Ron Paul, Texas Republican, followed respectively with 16.2 percent and 8.4 percent.
PICKET: Gingrich camp launches 'Women with Newt Coalition'
In an effort to help former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich appeal more favorable to female voters, the Newt Gingrich campaign created a new coalition known as 'Women with Newt.' According to a campaign press release, the coalition will be led by Mr. Gingrich's wife Callista, who is also president of Gingrich Productions, a multimedia production company.
PICKET: Southern Keystone pipeline portion to be built by TransCanada
The controversial Keystone Pipeline may not be null and void just yet. Various Canadian outlets are reporting that plans to build the southern leg of the pipeline are already in the works.
