Teixeira chase nearing conclusion?

That's the question this morning following a pair of reports on Mark Teixeira, one from MASN's Roch Kubatko saying the Nationals might have upgraded their offer to the first baseman to an eight-year deal worth between $178 and $184 million.

Nats agree to deal with Cabrera

The Nationals have agreed to a one-year deal with former Orioles pitcher Daniel Cabrera, pending a physical. They'll be the next Beltway team to try to wring a big season out of the talented but inconsistent pitcher.
