MILLER: Obama opts to shut down for Obamacare

Conventional wisdom in Washington is that the first government shutdown in 17 years will only hurt Republicans. That might be true in the short term, but it will help GOP members in 2014, because they followed the will of their constituents instead of cowing to political pressure. Published October 2, 2013

MILLER: Liberal logic - Drag queens are good role models

In a column in the widely-read Huffington Post, Joy Martin-Malone, argues that men dressed in women's clothes are better role models for young girls than Disney princess dolls. The mother of twin daughters writes that she pushes her children to model themselves after drag queens because "they are artists. Once again, President Obama is exploiting the tragic deaths from a mass shooting to push for his political agenda to control guns. This time, he escalates the rhetoric by blaming Second Amendment advocates for criminals’ acts. Published September 22, 2013

Scaring the American public is one of President Obama’s favorite political tactics to get gun control. Just hours after the terrible shooting at the Naval Yard on Monday, Mr. Obama said that even though he didn’t have the facts, “We’re confronting -- yet another -- mass shooting. ” Published September 16, 2013

MILLER: Colorado recall election a call to arms against Obama’s second-term gun grab

Just nine months after President Obama launched his second-term gun grab, citizens have answered a call to arms. The historic recall elections in Colorado on Tuesday mark a turning point in a string of successes in the states by gun-control advocates in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., tragedy. MILLER: AP calls Bradley Manning a ‘she’ and liberal media fall in line with PC agenda

After being sentenced to 35 years at Leavenworth for betraying his country, Pfc. Bradley Manning said he wants to live as a woman. This reality show drama would normally be an asterisk in an embarrassing case for the American military. The absurd request, however, will get mainstream recognition now that The Associated Press announced that all media who follow its vaulted guide should refer to him as “her” and Bradley as “Chelsea.” The political correctness in journalism has hit an all-time low.
