STEVE DEACE: Lucy pulls the football away from Charlie Brown once again
Herein lies the existential question of the age: is Lucy to blame for constantly pulling the football away from Charlie Brown just as he's about to kick it, or is it his fault for giving her so many chances to make a fool out of him?
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Iowa is sending Trump a message. Will he listen?
There was never a time when support for Donald Trump wasn't conditional in Iowa.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Rand Paul guilty of dumbest argument of 2016 campaign
To determine when a campaign is on the brink of extinction, the experts will usually cite lagging fundraising and sinking poll numbers as evidence the end is nigh.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Conservative movement finally steps up
A long-overdue army is finally gathering. Let's pray it's not too late.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Rush Limbaugh is right: Ted Cruz is most-principled candidate
It seems to me the only principled reason to be a Republican would be to stop, thwart and defeat Leftist ideas you're opposed to.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: St. Peter thinks Pope Francis needs to make the main thing the main thing
Built within the papacy is supposed to be a constant reminder of the ancient pact that office has made with Jesus Christ.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Slow your roll on Carly Fiorina
That Carly Fiorina had two stellar debate performances is not up for argument. Neither is the fact that after her last debate performance the pro-life movement owes her a thank you.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: We’ve learned all the wrong lessons from 9/11
Last week on the 14th anniversary of 9/11 the hash tag "never forget" was trending. However, if the current direction of the country is any indication, forgetting is actually quite trendy these days.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Dear Oprah, I’m confused about Kim Davis
I'm writing to you because you're obviously, like, the smartest woman in America and I am confused about Kim Davis. You know, that woman down in Kentucky who might be the first Christian ever imprisoned in American history for following their faith.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Donald Trump 2016? It’s up to the conservative movement now
He currently holds unprecedented leads in national polls, including across-the-board edges in all of the early primary/caucus states. His likability numbers with Republican primary voters are on the upswing. Nevertheless, most of the intelligentsia still doesn't believe Donald Trump has much of chance to be the 2016 GOP nominee.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Data proves pro-life is a political winner
Before the hit to the stock market, the nation has been served weeks of macabre videos laying out Planned Parenthood's bloodthirsty lust for dismembering babies to peddle their remains for profits. All the while displaying the chilling precision and emotional detachment of the stone-cold killers they are.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Why I’m endorsing Ted Cruz for president
For the past several election cycles, conservatives have lamented their lack of inspiring options. This time is different, though. Now there may be too many good options to choose from.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Fatal attraction: Trump and the Republican Party
At this point I'm not sure what's more pathetic. Those willing to defend Donald Trump no matter what he says and does, or those who think the way to drive an alpha-male billionaire out of a presidential race is to sanctimoniously whine about how "offensive" his comments are.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Mark Levin book: Conservative Rosetta Stone for winning the next generation
Everything that has made Mark Levin one of the conservative movement's most influential voices is there in his new book "Plunder and Deceit."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: This might be the only way to stop Donald Trump
I was there in the audience when Donald Trump made his unfortunate comments about John McCain's war record as a POW. And then followed it up by admitting to a room of thousands of evangelicals he'd never sought God's forgiveness for anything in his life.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: 2016 Iowa caucuses: Did Trump implode, has Jindal arrived?
The biggest pre-election event prior to the 2016 Iowa caucuses, the just-concluded Family Leadership Summit, has come and gone.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Planned Parenthood: The next relic from our racist past that must be purged
While we're busy exhuming the remains of Nathan Bedford Forrest in a progressive effort to purge our politically correct culture from all vestiges of its past racism, I'd like to humbly suggest the next target for cultural cleansing.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Donald Trump not ruining the Republican brand, the GOP is
In 2014, GOP officials in New York State put forth a full-court press to convince Donald Trump to run for governor. That seems like an eternity ago now, because today the same GOP loathes Mr. Trump so much as a presidential candidate he might as well change his name to "Ted Cruz."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Iowa caucus odds: 1 of these 4 will win
Turns out there is a silver lining to five justices on the U.S. Supreme Court committing what amounts to cultural self-immolation last week -- it winnowed the crowded field of 2016 GOP presidential candidates considerably.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Lies, clever myths and the Iowa caucuses
It never ceases to amaze me how an event like my home state Iowa Caucuses can be covered by so many smart people who have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
