STEVE DEACE: The idiocracy has its first love triangle
Welcome to the idiocracy's first political love triangle. A low-information presidential candidate propped up by a low-information media, all in the hopes of rallying a low-information electorate to overthrow the Republican Party.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: The trans craze is cray-cray
Further evidence we are a superpower in decline. AARP-eligible rock stars, who refuse to grow up and act their age, think daring to uphold the constitution as well as the privacy, security, and dignity of restrooms somehow makes you America's Taliban.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: We can win again - if we want to
These are truly uncertain and unsettling times. To paraphrase the great prophet Bon Jovi, we are "Livin' on a prayer."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Why the critics are wrong about ‘Batman v. Superman’
The negative reviews given to last weekend's blockbuster debut of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" were perfect testimony to an age desperately struggling to stay centered around truth.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Donald Trump: The Palm Sunday candidate
A comfortable people have the luxury of letting biblical tales drift into a status no more compelling than that of a nursery rhyme.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: 2016: If Republicans can’t get this election right, we deserve to lose
We believe in utterly silly things these days. But the truth is Bernie Sanders is not a real-life Santa Claus, he's just a communist. Donald Trump is not a heavy weight champion of the people, he's just another elitist jerk. And Hillary Clinton isn't always being framed, she's just a criminal.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Marco Rubio gets second chance to do the right thing — Will he?
Having 17 candidates officially declare in the Republican presidential primary was always a bit of a tease.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Finally! Some valid reasons to vote for Donald Trump
I've been requesting valid reasons why anyone who sincerely cares about the Constitution, or claims to be a conservative, can still be supporting Donald Trump's reality show ... err ... presidential campaign now that we have a clearer picture of his New York values. And knock me over with a feather if Trump Cult hasn't risen to the occasion once more. Blasting off with a litany of (nonsensical) explanations for why they're committing what amounts to political self-immolation.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Trump isn’t a revolution, but another surefire loser rebrand
Do you remember Chris Christie? You know, he of "abortion is self-defense" fame? Yeah, that guy. Left the GOP field after a whipping in New Hampshire about a week ago. Except not really.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Rubio simply is not yet ready to lead
Too many people today have decided that when it comes to picking presidential candidates, we need to find one nicer than God.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Yes, Ted Cruz can win the GOP nomination
When a man's logic rests on the decorum and magnanimity of Donald Trump, you probably want to stop following his trail of bread crumbs before total and complete madness sets in.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: There are 4 options for president, 3 of them are bad
This is an Isaiah 1:5 election.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Trump making conservative stereotypes great again
If you asked the typical liberal one-percenter in New York City to describe a conservative, what would they say?
SharesSTEVE DEACE: ‘You lie’ is still true this SOTU
The state of the union is not strong. It is an empty chair.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Ted Cruz — ethanol’s best friend
Those who live and die by corporatism and taxpayer-funded subsidies have determined to go all-in to stop Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, from winning the Iowa Caucuses in a few weeks. Apparently Mr. Cruz believes too much in freedom and limited government for these people's tastes. It won't work, because these people have lost almost all their political clout for various reasons. Not the least of which is most people are tired of the corporatist gravy train.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Liberal Tina Fey gives conservatives some good advice
When confronted with racial injustice, Rosa Parks said "no." When confronted with tyranny, Winston Churchill said "no." When confronted with colonial arrogance, Mahatma Gandhi said "no."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Why Donald Trump should dump Iowa
When it comes to the Iowa caucuses, Admiral Akbar has some sound advice for Donald Trump: "It's a trap."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Ben Carson throws pro-lifers under the bus
Ben Carson's presidential campaign has been notable for the public's view of him as perhaps the most honest human being in a very large field. How disappointing then that Mr. Carson recently said one of the most intellectually dishonest things any presidential candidate has uttered on the road to the White House.
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Video exposes truthful evidence that our leaders won’t
The waves of Syrian and other Muslim refugees inundating Europe have often been met by clapping and cheering Germans or Swedes singing their version of "this land is your land."
SharesSTEVE DEACE: Cruz gets Heritage Foundation ‘endorsement’
According to a new a report from the Heritage Foundation, Sen. Ted Cruz is just about the ideal presidential candidate.
