Balester, Zimmermann split up

Collin Balester will face the Astros tonight, while Jordan Zimmermann pitches against the Mets tomorrow. Both pitchers had previously been throwing the same day.

Sunday wrapup

A few notes (and something for the baseball geeks) from the Nats' 8-3 win over the Mets on Sunday.

Two lists: lineups and injuries

Hello from Port St. Lucie, where the Nats start a home-and-home matchup with the Mets (followed by one more on Tuesday, just in case the Nats' scouts need to do a little more homework on Daniel Murphy). Here's the lineup for today's game, followed by an update on a few injuries:

A Sunday mid-game update

Scott Olsen threw two scoreless innings in his first start of the season, though he had at least one would-be homer knocked down by the wind. The Nationals trail 6-1 through six innings.
