A few odds and ends
Hello from Nationals Park, where more than a few good seats are still available for the exhibition between the Nationals and Orioles (currently in the third inning). By my estimate (and this is a pure guess), there's probably less than 17,000 people here.
Final 25-man roster set
Hinckley, Ledezma, Shell, Tavarez round out bullpen; Bergmann and Mock optioned to Class AAA.
Heading north--some more than others
The biggest news out of here today after the Nats' 6-2 loss to the Orioles was their three roster moves -- outrighting Kory Casto and Mike O'Connor and putting Terrell Young on the DL. Casto, in particular, took the news hard.
Nats cut two, DL one
The Nationals just announced three roster moves, none of which were terribly unexpected. They outrighted infielder Kory Casto and left-hander Mike O'Connor to Class AAA Syracuse and put right-hander Terrell Young on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.
