Thru 6: Hanging on
The Nats lead 3-2 after six, and this game, like the last two, will hinge on two things: Whether the Nationals can drive in enough baserunners to pad their lead, and whether the team's shaky bullpen can protect a tight margin.
Thru 3: Leading again
The Nationals have a 2-1 lead after three innings here, though early leads haven't done them a whole lot of good the last two days.

A few updates as we get started with Sunday's Nats-Marlins game:
Bernadina to DL, Maxwell recalled
Roger Bernadina fractured his right ankle and has been placed on the DL. The Nats will recall Justin Maxwell from Class AAA tomorrow to take his place.
Nats blow another one, lose 9-6 in 11
Jeremy Hermida homers off Joel Hanrahan in the ninth and Wil Ledezma in the 11th to send the Nats to yet another loss.
Thru 9: Hanrahan blows another save
For the second straight game, Joel Hanrahan blows a ninth-inning lead against the Marlins, and we're again headed to extras.
Bernadina injured making great catch
Center fielder appears to get his right ankle caught at the base of the fence after tracking down Dan Uggla's deep drive in the eighth.
Thru 6: Nats still lead, 6-3
Olsen settles down after that shaky second and turns in a quality start after all.
Thru 3: Nats up 6-2
Kearns' grand slam highlights 5-run first, but Olsen gives two runs right back to Marlins.
Dukes benched for being late
Elijah Dukes has been removed from today's starting lineup for arriving five minutes late to the ballpark.

Nats lose, Guzman to DL
As if a 3-2, 10-inning loss to the Marlins wasn't bad enough, the Nats also decided to place shortstop Cristian Guzman on the DL with a strained hamstring.
Thru 9: Marlins rally to force extra innings
Cody Ross' homer off Joel Hanrahan in the top of the ninth ties the game 2-2 and sends this one to extra innings.
Thru 6: Nats lead 2-1
The Nationals lead 2-1 after six, with John Lannan getting through a rough fourth inning only allowing one run and Washington's little guys doing some damage.
Thru 3: Two 0s, missing two Os
We're scoreless through three innings here at Nationals Park, in large part because of how strong John Lannan has been.
