Secretary Clinton released the following statement on Friday evening regarding the Iranian government's imprisonment of Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh and filmmaker Jafar Panah.

President Barack Obama appeared on Colorado's KUSA's 9 News on Friday and was asked by reporter Kyle Clark if the Americans who were killed at the U.S. consulate in Beghazi were denied help during the terrorist attack and if it was fair to "tell Americans that it is still under investigation and that we'll all find out after the election." President Obama never answered that question and managed to repeat his "three directives" several times.
