Jim Webb, former US Senator from Virginia, current Democratic presidential candidate - Webb was originally a Republican, an assistant secretary of defense and former United States Secretary of the Navy. In 2006, he switched to the Democratic party to challenge Senator George Allen in Virginia. He went on to win that race as a Democrat and is now a declared 2016 Democratic presidential candidate.
