Arizona blocks in-state college tuition for ‘Dreamers’

The Arizona Supreme Court unanimously ruled Monday that illegal-immigrant "Dreamers" will have to pay out-of-state tuition rates. In a 7-0 decision, the justices ruled that Maricopa Community Colleges aren't allowed to grant in-state tuition rates to illegal immigrants protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. California grants driver’s licenses to 1 million illegal immigrants

California has granted driver's licenses to more than a million illegal immigrants, the state reported Wednesday. The California Department of Motor Vehicles said that, since a law signed by Gov. Jerry Brown took effect at the start of 2015, it had granted 1,001,000 licenses to foreign citizens who can prove they reside in California. Published April 4, 2018

Juli Briskman, the woman who won her 15 minutes of fame last fall by flipping the bird at President Trump's motorcade, is now suing the company that fired her. Ms. Briskman filed her case in state court Wednesday accusing Herndon-based Akima of breaking a Virginia law that bars companies from firing someone because of fear of unlawful government retaliation.
