Tucker Carlson, Berkeley’s idea of a ‘white supremacist goblin’
Berkeley City Council member Rigel Robinson turned down an invitation to talk about the renaming of manholes as "maintenance holes" on Fox News with Tucker Carlson, calling the host a "white supremacist goblin" and a "racist" and a bunch of other stuff. It's always a good thing when crazy people denounce you. Published July 19, 2019
Pentagon’s weaponized ticks wouldn’t be worst military secret
Rep. Christopher Smith added an amendment to a defense bill ordering the Pentagon to admit whether it experimented with ticks for biological weaponry, and if those experiments contributed to the massive Lyme disease explosion. If true -- it wouldn't be the worst secret experimentation conducted by the U.S. government. Published July 18, 2019
Racism alert: 32% Democrats say white pols can’t criticize blacks
In what has to be one of the most interesting polls of the day, Rasmussen Reports finds that "one-in-three Democrats think it's racism any time a white politician criticizes a politician of color." Published July 17, 2019
‘Squad?’ Squanderers is more like it
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar have managed to ball their socialist viewpoints into a cute and college-y sounding name, branding themselves the cute-sounding "squad." But at root, they're socialists -- and that makes them, automatically and by logical extension, squanderers. Published July 17, 2019
Boston’s Christian flag problem
Boston is being sued over barring a group, Camp Constitution, from flying its Christian flag as part of the city's recent Constitution Day celebrations. Think about that for a moment. Wasn't Boston at the forefront of Americans' fight for independence from Britain -- a fight that was based largely on the quest for religious freedom? For specifically, Christian religious freedom? My, how times have changed. Published July 17, 2019
Religious ‘nones’ on the rise, bringing the rot of socialism
Between 2008 and 2018, the level of religious "nones" in the United States -- those absorbing to no particular belief in a higher power-- has risen from just more than 22% to nearly 30%. That explains much. Like what? Like how come socialists in America have come to political power, for one. Published July 16, 2019
Ayanna Pressley’s childish anti-Trump ‘occupant’ stand
Rep. Ayanna Pressley said at a press conference this week that President Donald Trump, in her mind -- from her lips -- would always be considered an unauthorized, illegitimate "occupant" of the White House. She's not just thumbing her nose at Trump. She's thumbing her nose at the American people. And oh so childishly so. Published July 16, 2019
Socialists are the enemy — and that’s not racist to say
Much ado has been made over President Donald Trump's recent tweets telling "'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen" -- that is to say, socialists -- to exit America, stage right. But the president's message is valid. Simply put: Socialists -- which is what Democrats have become -- don't belong in America's government. Published July 16, 2019
Trump’s tweets hardly as ‘racist’ as Virginia’s governor
This is how the media works: President Donald Trump is being labeled an outright utter racist for telling progressive members of Congress to get out, go back where they belong -- back to the socialist-styled countries of corrupt governance they love to defend. But Virginia's governor, who apologized for a "racist and offensive" costume in his yearbook photo, is still happily governing. Double standard? Published July 15, 2019
Democrats need to control their freshmen
At the risk of being called racist -- Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley ought to retire to their congressional corners, crack open a copy of the Constitution and spend some quiet time reading. Maybe then they'd learn how the public servant class is supposed to operate in this country. Published July 15, 2019
Democrats, ‘Douglass Plan’ set course for more racial division
In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech imagining a time when his children "will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Then, as now, the words ring powerful. But with Democrats at the helm, that dream will never come. Published July 13, 2019
Hillary Clinton’s people still insist it’s the woman thing
Jennifer Palmieri, the former communications director for then-presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, chalked up her candidate's loss to -- get this, it's broken-record-meet-deja-vu, ta da ta da -- sexism. Again with the freaking gender card. Seriously, now. Stop. It's making women -- all women -- look bad. Published July 12, 2019
Product lickers symptom of sick, selfie-obsessed nation
If there were no such thing as selfies, there probably wouldn't be as many of these sick product lickers out there. If social media weren't so targeted toward the lowest common denominator -- the low achievers who think 1,000 likes is akin to genuine accomplishment -- then product licking wouldn't be a thing. George Soros’ son, wielding the hatchet at Tucker Carlson
The left, led by vicious anti-American forces, is on a wide-sweeping mission to stomp out any vestige of freedom -- or critical thinking -- in this country, so as to establish a collectivist, easily controlled system of governing. Published July 11, 2019
ICE raids ‘absolutely going to happen’
Whether the raids actually take place or not, at this point, doesn't even matter. Illegals have been set on notice. They've been sent the message. They've been warned, they're being watched, and they're as they should be: treading carefully, looking over their shoulders, worried they may have to face account for the laws they're breaking. Left’s bizarre insistence on climate ‘emergency’
Sen. Bernie Sanders, on the presidential campaign trail, put out a video announcement of legislation he introduced with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Earl Blumenauer declaring climate change as a national emergency. And that raises the very respectable, rational question: Do these people really believe what they say? ‘Ban Facial Recognition’ campaign kickstarts — but in futility
A group called Fight for the Future has just launched a campaign calling for a national ban on government's use of facial recognition technology. The call, at BanFacialRecognition.com, may be justified. But honestly, that's just one genie that's not going back into the lamp any time soon. Published July 9, 2019
Tom Steyer jumps in race, carting 1960s messages of dandelion love
Billionaire Tom Steyer, who wants to impeach President Donald Trump, acknowledged on Twitter that he was running for the high White House office. That's after insisting for some time that he wasn't. Published July 9, 2019
Jeffrey Epstein attorney shocks, shrugs off ‘rape’ as ‘statutory maybe’
Reid Weingarten, the lead attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, created a stir during his client's arraignment hearing by seemingly shrugging off the fact that some victims, simply because of their young ages, were regarded, in the eyes of the law, as raped. Eh, it's only statutory, he said, shocking the court. This is called Bad Lawyering. Published July 9, 2019
Taxing whites moves mainstream
Once upon a time, the idea of taxing white people for their skin color was the stuff and nonsense of satire -- or, at the very least, of the rantings of the radical left, mostly minorities, seeking payback for America's dark days of slavery and racism. Even then, it was dismissed. Published July 9, 2019
