Van Jones is right — Obama’s optics are off once again
Van Jones, former green czar for Barack Obama, suggested during a CNN interview the ex-president ought not have jumped at the chance to earn a cool $400,000 for a planned speech on health care to a Wall Street audience. Rather, Van Jones said, he should've gone on a "poverty tour" of the nation instead. Maybe. But then again, optics was never Obama's strong suit -- or concern. Published May 1, 2017

May Day shapes, as anti-Trumpers, illegals head to streets
It's International Workers Day, and once again, the anti-President Donald Trump forces are heading to the streets to call for the commander-in-chief's head on a platter. The National Mall filled with May Day illegals? This should be good. Like fishing in a barrel for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Published May 1, 2017
Does America even want freedom anymore?
The Berkeley-Coulter tiff rocked headlines, but that's just a symptom of something deeper and darker that ails America. The fact is that in America, our individual rights come from God, not government. Published April 29, 2017
People’s Climate March — rally of the ridiculous
People's Climate March protesters, hating all things Trump, ought to shake up their messaging a bit. Instead of saying "Impeach Trump" in English, say "el process de destitucion Trump," or something like that, in Spanish instead. Get creative this time. Much more attention-grabbing. National monuments on Trump chopping block
President Donald Trump is taking aim at some of Barack Obama's national monuments, as well as at designations made by other presidents. And this is great news. Terrific news. Facebook’s ‘appalling’ 24-hour post of a baby’s murder

Sanctuary cities ruling a despicable sign of lawless times
My, how far we've come. Used to be a time when the Constitution was the country's rule of law, the Bible and its Judeo-Christian principles, the national moral compass. Now? That prize goes to the ones with the loudest mouths, deepest pockets and -- even more shamefully -- most activist courts on their sides. Published April 26, 2017
