PICKET: Perry '01 - 'Fox's vision for an open border is a vision I embrace'

Texas Governor Rick Perry, Republican, reportedly being pushed by Texas lawmakers to throw his hat into the GOP presidential ring, very often touts his background on border security,but what about the Mr. Perry's past remarks and actions about immigration and the border? He is currently supporting a bill that was just passed by the Texas Senate that would give greater power to police officers to question those who are detained about their legal status.

PICKET: President's remarks on jobs WH created includes laugh cue

President Barack Obama made remarks at a DNC event in Washington at the Mandarin hotel on Monday, where he touted the number of private sector jobs he said the administration created. The problem, however, was those watching the closed captioned text of the speech on television sets saw a laugh cue instead of an applause cue. In fact, the text of the laugh cue is still on the White House website.

PICKET: NY Target store staffers say 'no' to unionization

Next on the union hit list? Target. The retail giant, like its competitor Walmart, is under pressure to have it's employees represented by labor. However, according to an AP report, after a vote at a New York Target store in Valley Stream, the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1500 failed to convince Target employees to unionize.

President Obama brought House Speaker John Boehner, Vice President Biden and Ohio Governor John Kasich to make up the foursome for his 73rd round of golf since coming to the White House. The Duffer-in-Chief played 18 holes with the powerful group at Andrews Air Force Base.
