The Faith and Freedom Coalition released a telephone survey by Public Opinion Strategies last week showing a majority of Christian conservatives and Tea Partiers say that their vote was a message to either support or oppose President Barack Obama.
Miller campaign cites concerns over sudden date change in ballot count
Apparently, Joe Miller, Alaskan Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, is concerned about the the sudden change of date for when the counting of the write-in ballots began. The Miller campaign released a statement on Saturday regarding how their campaign was notified about the date change.

Immigration stance likely not reason for Angle campaign demise
It has become a common talking point that former Republican Nevada Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle damaged her race against Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid because of her stance against illegal immigration. Many in the media will point to her campaign ads as proof that she was too much of a firebrand on the issue as opposed to other Republican candidates across the country; however, the numbers just do not show that to be the case.

Republican Senatorial candidate Sharron Angle conceded her race to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat late Tuesday night. Despite the massive GOP sweep in the House, Democrats and their allies will use this particular race as a talking point as to why a tea party favored candidate is unacceptable to Americans at large. However, despite having the highest unemployment rate in the country and a downward spiraling economy, Nevada chose to re-elect Senator Reid. That being said, the Angle campaign made plenty of mistakes of their own.

Reid evangelized for early voting among Hispanics
A gathering of evangelical Hispanics gathered in Las Vegas last Monday and Tuesday for the A Viva Vegas Tonite at the Henderson pavillion. A Viva Vegas was promoted as solely a Christian gathering and revival with musical performances coming primarily from Latino acts. According to an eyewitness, about 1000 people may have been in attendance on Tuesday night when Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat, addressed the crowd.
NV Poll worker on union intimidation: It's not like they're gonna kill anybody
While unions bussing their members to the polls in Nevada last week had many crying foul, when it was discovered that members were given free lunches and were heavily watched by union muscle from when casino workers got off the busses to when they went to go vote. The intimidation tactics were too much for poll watcher Babette Rutherford, who filed a complaint with Nevada’s Secretary of State. The complaint describes eight union personnel escorting and menacingly staring down their members to ensure no one wandered off into mall stores instead of voting at the Boulevard Mall polling location in Las Vegas last Wednesday.

With only three days to turn out her supporters on Tuesday, Nevada Republican senatorial candidate Sharron Angle, celebrated "Nevada Day" at a local parade in Carson City on Saturday afternoon. Walking in high heels, Ms. Angle marched the parade route twice.
