A poll released Monday shows a would-be 2016 presidential match-up between former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is a statistical dead heat, with Mrs. Clinton holding a two-point lead, 43 percent to 41 percent, over her potential Republican rival.

Report fuels speculation of a Warren run in 2016

A new report is fueling speculation that freshman Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts Democrat, could throw her hat into the ring and run for president in 2016 — presenting a threat on the left flank of former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton if Mrs. Clinton were to run as well.

Obama pays tribute to veterans

Two days before Veterans' Day, President Obama on Saturday paid tribute to those who have defended the nation and promised his administration will continue investing in job-training and education for veterans.
