We're tied at one apiece after three innings at Camden Yards, in what looks like it could be a night ruled by a couple of young pitchers.

Thru 6: Lead grows to six

The Nationals are really rolling here, and might be on track to just their seventh win of more than three runs. They lead 7-1 after six innings.

Thru 3: Nats lead 5-0

Not much has gone wrong here for the Nationals in the first three innings. They lead the Red Sox 5-0, and are beating up on John Smoltz in his first start of the season.

Olsen ready to go?

Injured left-hander pitched well last night in his fourth rehab start. Sounds like the Nats will announce soon he's being activated.

Lessons learned

Craig Stammen pitched pretty well tonight. Unfortunately, pretty well doesn't cut it against the Red Sox.

Bullpen implodes in 11-3 loss

Plenty of spots you can identify as turning points in the Nationals' 11-3 loss to the Red Sox -- a game that was 3-3 when John Lannan left in the seventh. But the big one is a recurring theme: the bullpen.
