Interviews with 430 adult Americans who watched the presidential debate conducted by telephone by ORC International on October 3, 2012. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points. Survey respondents were first interviewed as part of a random national sample on September 28-October 2, 2012.

PICKET: Obama hits private jet owners again at Denver debate

President Barack Obama referenced corporate jet owners during a discussion on taxes at the Denver debate on Wednesday when he said, "If you've got a corporate jet, you can probably afford to pay full freight." This is not the first time the president criticized private jet owners. During a June 29, 2011 press conference he went after private jet owners and mentioned them six times.

Recently, two blocks from my home, a man was attacked on the street by armed thugs who stole his laptop. So far in 2012, violent crime is up 8 percent in Washington, D.C., All this made me realize again that I need to do whatever I can legally to defend myself in this crime-ridden city. I decided to go back to police headquarters to get a registration form for self-defense spray. When I arrived, I was surprised to find out that the Gun Registry Office is also tasked with registering mace.

Romney campaign fundraises off 'Fast and Furious'

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan sent out a fundraising plea to supporters Tuesday saying that donating to the Romney campaign will help ensure that Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., whose Justice Department oversaw the botched "Fast and Furious" gunwalking operation, will be kicked out of office.
