Michael Ackart is lead into court at the Miller County jail Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Texarkana, Ark. Ackart was formally charged with second-degree murder in the traffic death of County Chief Deputy Pete Richardson. Richardson was killed Monday in a three-vehicle crash near Lewisville, and according to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office, Richardson was driving Ackart to a homeless shelter in Miller County.
