In this Thursday, May 11, 2017 photo, while driving south on North Pearl Street in Centralia, Wash., Deputy Kevin Dickey, a compliance officer with the Lewis County Drug Court, spotted a man he recognized at a bus stop then pulled over to see if the man — who Deputy Dickey explained was known to have mental health issues — needed any help on. Dickey, who stores a packet of free bus passes in his car, offered the man free bus passes. The man accepted the passes then proposed that Deputy Dickey give him a ride to the bank.
