Fernand Leger's oil on canvas "Exit the Ballets Russes" (right) was created in 1914. Alexandre Benois' design for the front cloth from Petrushka (below) is a 1925 work of pen, ink, and tempera on machine-made laid charcoal paper. A poster (left) from 1923 heralds a coming performance. The Ballets Russes' artistic influence was great through collaborations with other artists.
