President Donald Trump — don’t you just love saying that; President Donald Trump! — but anyhow, the guy who beat the tar off Kamala Harris to become president, i.e., Donald Trump, signed an executive order that shut down diversity, equity and inclusion offices at the federal level. Then he sent all the DEI federal government employees packing. Then he made clear his government would be one that hired, promoted and employed based on competence, not skin color. Or sex. Or no-sex, as the LGBTQ binary, plural-nary, lunatic-nary may be.

In other words: He put Marxism back in its box. He told all the good little Marxists who’ve been marching around the Democrat camps and barking their communist, divide-so-as-to-conquer orders to get out, go home. Here’s your pink slip; don’t let the door hit you.

It’s like America is becoming America again.

Trump’s dismantling of DEI at the federal level, within federal offices, among federal employees, will have a trickle effect into the states, into the localities, into the private sector, into the schools. Businesses that push DEI won’t be eligible for contracts with the federal government. Businesses with DEI built into their model won’t be recipients of federal grant dollars. That’s huge. That’s even yuuuge.

As The Associated Press noted, Trump’s order squashing DEI among the contracting crowd is basically “using one of the key tools utilized by the Biden administration to promote DEI programs across the private sector.”

Trump’s turning the tables on that.

Trump’s turning the tables on the very Democrats who turned the tables on the free market and forced unconstitutional, unjustified, unwarranted and un-American policies and agendas on the business sector.

And boy, how the leftists are howling.

Look at their language: “Trump rolls back bedrock civil rights measure in sweeping anti-DEI push,” Axios wrote. Bedrock civil rights? Antiquated government-approved discrimination is more like it. You know you’re doing something that’s good for America when Squad squawker Rep. Ilhan Omar expresses outrage.

“The blatant abuse of power by Donald Trump to end decades of diversity and affirmative action practices will have catastrophic impacts on women and people of color across the country,” Omar said in a statement on her House webpage. She went on — yada, yada, squawk, yada — calling on Trump to do his federal duty, his “moral responsibility,” as she put it, “to right past wrongs and address decades of discrimination against marginalized groups.” Yada, meet yada. She must have missed the swearing-in ceremony, the part where Trump pledges not to shove morality, leftist-style, down the throats of the American people, but rather to uphold the Constitution.

Anyhow. Moving on.

“Trump Administration Escalates D.E.I. Crackdown in Latest Threat to Federal Workers,” The New York Times reported

There’s the teeth in Trump’s order.

“Trump message to corporate America: Stop ‘illegal’ DEI or face investigations,” USA Today wrote.

“Trump action expected to have immediate chilling effect,” USA Today wrote.

Indeed. But it’s all about perspective.

Democrats for years have gotten away with hiring and promoting and using tax dollars to pay for those least able, least equipped, least skilled to perform their jobs. Moreover, even more wickedly, they’ve thrown the entire nation into this chaotic, unproductive, and frankly racist work model, where the private sector had to hire the unqualified — or else.

Now, under Trump, America is returning to a nation of competency — where talent, hard work, sacrifice, skill, experience, ambition and all the good stuff that drives prosperity and independence are being recognized as key and core values. And Democrats hate that because for them, life isn’t about working hard to fulfill one’s dreams and passions, but rather about controlling others and taking from the doers to give to the ones who won’t do, who refuse to do, who’d rather stay in their mom’s basement and play video games than go out and do.

“This is going to start a tidal wave of companies self-censoring and cutting back on … DEI efforts for fear of litigation,” said one law professor, Joseph Steiner, with the University of South Carolina, to USA Today.

Yes. It’s called the return of American Exceptionalism.

And it’s about time.
