Ohio State coach Ryan Day and quarterback Will Howard were a bit late for their postgame press conferences after winning the national championship on Monday night in Atlanta. They didn’t get caught up in a celebration — their golf cart crashed into a concrete wall on the way to the interview room.

No injuries were reported — Howard and Day both laughed off the minor crash before walking down the tunnel. No updates were available about the cart, which was stuck against a wall.

The players and coaches weren’t the only ones amused by the delay, as social media commenters had a field day. Video of the crash has been viewed more than 8 million times.

“The confidence with which she [the driver] drove straight into that wall was impressive,” one X user wrote.

Others compared the incident to a scene in “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery,” wherein the eponymous spy blocks a hallway with a luggage cart.

“That understeer will get you every time,” Underdog Fantasy’s Brett Kollmann joked.

Ohio State dominated Notre Dame en route to its ninth national title. After dropping their final regular-season game to rival Michigan, the Buckeyes marched through the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff, winning by an average of 17.5 points per game.
