The Washington Commanders’ playoff matchup with the Detroit Lions on Saturday night at Ford Field is the hottest ticket in the country.

According to sales platform TickPick, the highly anticipated divisional-round game is the most expensive non-Super Bowl bout since 2011.

The average ticket costs $991, with the cheapest seats costing $588. According to Vividseats, another ticket marketplace, Lions-Commanders tickets are twice as expensive as the weekend’s other playoff matchups.

“The game between the Commanders and Lions has all the makings of a high-demand matchup — a team that just won its first playoff game since 2006 competing against America’s favorite team,” Adam Budelli, a spokesperson for ticket reseller StubHub, said. It’s the hottest ticket of the weekend by far, nearly tripling the sales of the other divisional round games.”

A win for either team would be a historic moment for the 65,000 fans expected to attend. Washington hasn’t reached the NFC Championship game since 1991, while Detroit is seeking its second championship-round appearance in as many years. The Lions haven’t won postseason games in consecutive years since the 1950s.

The Commanders are massive underdogs for Saturday’s game, with the Lions favored by 9½ points.
