OPINION:
In football, they say a Hail Mary has occurred when a quarterback throws a long pass in the last minutes of a game and a player catches the ball and makes a touchdown, bringing that team victory.
The reasoning is that a prayer of intercession to the Blessed Mother Mary has been answered by her son, Jesus, God or the Holy Spirit. God, Jesus and the Hoy Spirit bring successes to us in our daily lives of teaching, learning and other kinds of work we do.
The Blessed Mother plays her important role in the New Testament of Christianity. She is mentioned 34 times in the Quran, and she is from Israel.
Let’s pray that the Blessed Mother Mary will appear in Tehran and Jerusalem as she has appeared at Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe and other places, and that her appearances and messages help bring peace to the Middle East, as she has helped bring success to teams and to us.
