Super Bowl halftime performer Kendrick Lamar’s been put on notice: no repeat of Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction during the 2004 Super Bowl.

New Federal Communication Chair Brendan Carr is said Sunday that’s his only request of the chart-topping rapper Lamar.

“This is going to be the first Super Bowl where I’m chairman of the FCC. So one ask I have: please no wardrobe malfunctions this Sunday,” Carr said during a recent appearance on Fox News. “That’s my only ask. That would ruin my evening.”

The Jackson malfunction — which briefly exposed one of her breasts — led to a $550,000 fine against CBS. The U.S. Court of Appeals later rescinded the penalty.

Lamar, who won five Grammy awards last week, has kept most details about his upcoming performance confidential. Singer SZA, who features on Lamar’s recent song “Luther,” has confirmed that she’d accompany Lamar on Sunday.

His only promise for the show? “Storytelling,” he said.

“I’ve always been very open about storytelling through all my catalog and my history of music,” the 37-year-old said in an Apple TV interview. “And I’ve always had a passion about bringing that on whatever stage I’m on, whether it’s a world tour or whether it’s 500 people at Key Club, I’ve always had a form of that.”
