The Wizards made one final move before Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline, acquiring guard Marcus Smart and a 2025 first-round pick from the Memphis Grizzlies in a multi-team trade.

The agreement will also send a pair of second-round picks to Memphis, according to ESPN. The move opens a pair of roster spots for a Grizzlies squad that could seek to add players in the buyout market.

Full details about the trade, including what other franchises were involved and which draft picks were involved, were not immediately available on Thursday.

Smart averaged 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 19 games with the Grizzlies this season.
