If what former ABC News journalist Mark Halperin said last month about there being a national mental health crisis in the event of a second Trump presidency, as a “deplorable” I want to ensure that my friends and relatives suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome stay fully calm.

Whenever I attend a get-together with people suffering from TDS, I make sure to avoid talking about politics or the election. And now that Donald Trump’s won, I will also avoid doing my victory dance. One of my post-2016-election dances really triggered a person suffering badly from TDS. In fact, serious TDS sufferers (actor Robert De Niro comes to mind) may need to be voluntarily relocated to a deplorable-free zone.

Perhaps Bill Gates and George Soros can set up an NGO for this purpose. Off the top of my head, Cuba might be an ideal location. And I hear the weather in Havana is nice this time of year. An added benefit is the Cuban government does not allow any misinformation from their news outlets or internet services.

In any case, I advise all God-fearing deplorables to keep TDS sufferers in mind during the months ahead.
