OPINION:
Recently, liberal media pundits have compared President-elect Donald Trump to ruthless Roman emperors, showing just how out of touch they are with American voters. They claim Americans are living in fear.
But while pollsters indicated that Trump voters’ main concerns were either border security or inflation, another significant concern omitted in a public debate was the spread of a Democratic agenda based on non-Christian values.
Voters feared our country becoming a modern Sodom and Gomorrah that would shame people for not participating in its deviant values. The progressives’ aim over the past four years has been to advance non-Christian values while masking them as inclusivity and tolerance.
Each week we hear more about how the political far left has injected these non-Christian principles into public policy, city and state agencies, schools and sports. We have witnessed it being spread at a disturbing rate by TV, radio, social media and corporations, all of which have used celebrities to persuade the public and mask its true intention.
Democratic leaders have shown an acute lack of public compassion for the suffering of voters, particularly to the victims of their “woke” policies. These include the families of slain Americans Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray and others. Meanwhile, they advance their policies of a fantasy world in which gender is a choice.
Now is the time to stop this so we can turn the page for the betterment of our society and protect our children rather than mislead them.
