It is a hoot that after staunchly supporting serial liars and deep state agents such as James Clapper, Robert Mueller, James Comey, Merrick Garland, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder and many more, the Democrats are suddenly all aflutter about character and honesty — when it comes to President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks.

Accused of being everything from foreign agents to imbeciles to immoral actors, Mr. Trump’s nominees are being demonized even before they have been subjected to congressional inspection and approval. Meanwhile, not one of them has been arrested and charged — much less tried, convicted and sentenced — for crimes committed against existing laws.

While high-ranking criminal Democrats get off scot-free time and time again, everyday citizens (the ones who actually make America work) get hauled into court, sentenced to the rack and are never heard from again. This paradox is one of the many reasons Mr. Trump has been invited once again by the people to untangle our mess and make things right.

Fear of this untangling is the underlying reason the bureaucracy, career politicians (think Charles E. Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell and dozens more) and media lapdogs remain unified in undermining and distorting Mr. Trump’s record.

As Bette Davis said in “All About Eve,” “Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy night.”
