You would think blue-state governors would see the results of this year’s election as evidence that perhaps they went too far with their extreme-left ideology and policies. Not so. Instead, they are doubling down and vowing to fight President Donald Trump’s agenda (“California governor calls special session to protect liberal policies from Trump presidency,” Web, Nov. 7).

It’s no wonder Donald Trump won the election in the greatest historic comeback ever. The man’s common-sense policies are what the majority of America wants and needs. Trump answers to the people; Democrats don’t. Instead, they answer to their donors, mainly Hollywood and Big Tech.

If they had answered to the people, Joe Biden — with his 16 million votes — would have been the presidential candidate, and they would not now be vowing to fight Trump for the next four years. As the party of the elite, Democrats are out of touch with most Americans.
