OPINION:
Starting in the Obama administration and continuing through Vice President Kamala Harris’ run for president, the Democrats have pledged to bring the American people back together. What a crock.
Former President Barack Obama pitted class against class, the haves against the have-nots and race against race, separating the masses by dividing all.
Under President Biden, anyone supporting President-elect Donald Trump was a threat to democracy, a fascist, a Nazi, garbage and on and on.
As her parting shot, Ms. Harris said she would keep fighting, despite having lost the election. She falsely accused Mr. Trump of everything under the sun, demonizing him in the eyes of the people.
She professed unity when stumping around the country, but she never mentioned our military or veterans, who maintained our democracy. At the same time, she called Trump supporters a threat to the country. How is that bringing us together?
Ms. Harris’ real intent was to further divide our country as we know it, to keep us distracted while the Democrats stayed in power and implemented their destructive policies of socialism.
In the end, the Democrats did unite us — and brought about their own demise. Thankfully, Mr. Trump will bring back a country that almost went the way of the dinosaur.
