ANKENY, Iowa — The final days of the 2024 Iowa caucuses are turning into a bit of a game of telephone.

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has announced he is canceling three of the four in-person events he had scheduled this weekend because of the blizzard conditions and instead will hold tele-rallies.

Nikki Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, went that same route Friday.

She held a series of tele-town halls after canceling campaign stops due to the mounting snow.

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida also was forced off the trail after holding an early morning event here in Ankeny with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.

Vivek Ramaswamy, meanwhile, charged ahead with a full day of events.

Mr. Ramaswamy, Ms. Haley and Mr. DeSantis are all slated — at least for the moment — to be back on the campaign trail Saturday.

Mr. Trump still has a rally scheduled for Sunday and in-person events scheduled for Monday.
