Rather than constantly bullying countries including Canada, Panama, Greenland and Denmark with ignorant comments, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump should be obsessing about how he will lower grocery prices after Jan. 20, 2025 (“Trump, Panama, Greenland and Ukraine,” web, Dec. 27).

Suggesting that former hockey player Wayne Gretzky become our prime minister clearly shows Mr. Trump’s ignorance of our parliamentary system of governance. In a Canadian federal election, the leader of the winning party automatically becomes our prime minister. The position is not on our federal election ballots.

Mr. Trump should worry about his election commitments instead of making disparaging and ignorant comments to other countries before his inauguration.
