The hardware keeps piling up for Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. The first-year passer set an NFL record Wednesday with his 10th Rookie of the Week award after tossing five touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

With his 10th honor, Daniels surpassed the mark set by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who secured nine of the awards in 2004. The NFL first started the weekly award — which is based in part on online fan voting — in 2002.

The Rookie of the Week belts are starting to pile up — Daniels has said he doesn’t have any special plans for them.

“I mean, they’re in the house, in the living room,” he said with a smile last week. “I appreciate the fanbase — best fans in America.”

The LSU product is considered a virtual lock for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, which will be awarded after the season ends.

Daniels’ odds reached -20000 at DraftKings Sportsbook after Sunday’s last-second win over the Eagles. A successful $10 bet would return just 5 cents.

Daniels will continue his record-setting rookie campaign on Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons with a chance to clinch a playoff berth.
