Longtime NFL defensive back Logan Ryan announced his retirement Tuesday. The Rutgers product won two Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots before playing for four more teams in his 11 seasons.

The cornerback-turned-safety followed his New England start by playing for the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers.

“Thank you to all my family, friends and teammates for the guidance and support,” Ryan said on social media. “Won 2 Super Bowls and got out happy and healthy to be the best father for my children. … Cheers to what’s next.”

The 33-year-old ends his career with 19 interceptions, 15 forced fumbles and 755 tackles.

“What a great career, what a ride it was,” the 2013 third-round pick said in a video posted on X. “A beautiful journey of highs and lows like they always are. … I’m so blessed, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
