COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont adjutant general and other leaders of the Vermont National Guard are holding a virtual town hall on Thursday to discuss some topics related to the Guard and take questions from the public, officials said.

The topics to be discussed include F-35 training, deployments, COVID-19 support to Vermont and burn permit registrations.

“We want to share the things we have going on in the Vermont National Guard and give the community a chance to join us in that dialogue,” Maj. Gen. Greg Knight said in a written statement. “This is an opportunity for people to ask questions directly to Guard leadership.”

The 6 p.m. event will be live on the Vermont National Guard’s Facebook page. Anyone interested in asking a question may do so live or ahead of time through https://bit.ly/3cbqACw.
