SEATTLE (AP) - Brian Moran, who recently served as the top federal prosecutor in western Washington, is returning to private practice.

The global law firm Orrick announced Monday that Moran has rejoined the company as a partner in its Seattle office.

Moran served as U.S. attorney in Seattle from 2019 until early this year. He previously spent about six years at Orrick, and before that 15 years in the Washington attorney general’s office.

At Orrick his work will include the firm’s regulatory and compliance and white collar and investigations practices.
