BALTIMORE (AP) - A police officer in Maryland has been arrested on child sex crimes charges.
The Baltimore County Police Department said LoQune Lee Brown, 34, turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest Wednesday, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Brown faces two counts of third-degree sex offense, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of second-degree assault.
A corporal with the Bladensburg Police Department in Prince George’s County, Brown was being held on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing, the newspaper reported.
Online court records do not list an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
Baltimore County police said an investigation found that between July and November 2020, Brown sexually assaulted a juvenile on two separate occasions.
