Bob Woodward’s latest liberal-support book has arrived just in time to join all the others in disparaging President Trump’s run for a second term (“Fauci denies Trump downplayed COVID: ’I didn’t get any sense that he was distorting anything,’” Web, Sept. 9). Mr. Woodward’s “Rage” provides questionable fodder for gullible idiots to digest as truth, yet anyone with half a brain can see his menu is inedible.

Saying the president’s reaction to COVID-19 was complacent is unswallowable. Mr. Trump did not want to yell “Fire!” in a crowded theater and panic the public. Even a dimwit should be able to understand this.

The following is another disingenuous attempt to do the same: an Atlantic magazine article by Jeffrey Goldberg, claiming anonymous sources say the president disparaged the military. Here we go again; “anonymous sources” has once again emerged from a basement adjacent to Sleepy Joe’s, to fill in his gaps with gossip and propaganda. They are always called upon when the Democrats have no facts to cause damage to the opposition. The truth will bear out the erroneousness of the accusations.
