Severe weather in the Cleveland area delayed the start of the Browns and Texans game until about 1:35 p.m. The pregame thunderstorm, which swept through the area right before kickoff, including high wind and hail.
According to Weather.com, strong winds and storms throughout the Midwest blew down trees and knocked out power of over 300,000 people. Wind gusts reached as high as 72 mph, and a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 4 p.m. for places in Ohio and Pennsylvania, including the Cleveland metro area.

Shortly before kickoff, both teams headed back to their locker rooms at the FirstEnergy Stadium. They’ve since returned to the field and are playing the Week 10 game.
