SWANTON, Vt. (AP) - An arrest warrant was issued in Vermont on Friday for a man accused of holding a woman against her will for over a month and assaulting her.

Troopers responded to Homestead Acres for a possible domestic assault on Thursday, in which a witness reported a male dragging a female back into a home, state police said.

Police were searching for the man, identified as Kevin Daskalides, 31, of Swanton.

An arrest warrant for Daskalides was issued by Vermont Superior Court Judge Scot Kline. Bail, once Daskalides is taken into custody, would be $100,000, the court said.

The alleged victim had various injuries and was being treated by medical personnel, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Albans.
