MONTVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Authorities in Connecticut are seeking a man who they say fled a traffic stop and dragged two police officers with him, though they were not hurt.

Montville police officers stopped Todd Raymond, 45, on the New London Turnpike at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Connecticut State Police said in a Facebook post. Raymond has a warrant out for violation of probation.

Raymond provided a false name at the stop and fled in his vehicle as the officers tried to get more information about him, according to state police. It’s not clear how they were dragged, but neither officer sustained injuries.

Authorities found the car abandoned in Norwich. Raymond was spotted walking on the Mohegan-Pequot Bridge but he jumped off and landed on the ground, police said.
