PHOENIX (AP) - A woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of her boyfriend at a Phoenix home, according to police.

They said 24-year-old Miranda Gerardo is jailed without bond on suspicion of murder.

It was unclear Thursday if she has a lawyer yet.

Police said they responded to a report of gunshots heard around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers arrived and found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name hasn’t been released yet.

Police said Gerardo allegedly was seen at the home during the shooting and investigators developed probable cause to arrest her.

A possible motive for the fatal shooting wasn’t released by police.
