PHOENIX (AP) - A suspect has been arrested in a stabbing at a central Phoenix home that left one man dead, police said.
Officers responded to a residence shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday and found a man with wounds consistent with a knife attack.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He was identified Monday as 37-year-old Luis Rubio.
Police said officers were able to gather enough information to identity 47-year-old Major McKenzie as a suspect.
They say McKenzie was found with injuries and a weapon consistent with the attack.
McKenzie was taken into custody and is facing a possible second-degree murder charge.
Police did not give a possible motive for the attack.
It was not immediately known Monday if McKenzie had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
