NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A multivehicle accident that included a Newark police cruiser left five people injured early Monday, though none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Hawthorne and Chadwick avenues. The victims were being treated at hospitals for undisclosed injuries, and further details about them were not immediately disclosed.
Newark police and the Essex County Prosecutors Office are investigating the crash.
