COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A business student at the University of South Carolina is trying to bring back the school’s traditional yearbook.

Samantha Petrelli wrote a 50-page proposal to start publishing the Garnet & Black yearbook again as her senior thesis and now she is trying to bring the paper to life.

The yearbook was last published in 1994.

Petrelli wants to call the new yearbook “Thee Big Spur” taking the “thee” from the alma mater, she told The State newspaper.

The book could be a nostalgic coffee table item for years to come.

“I love everything about” USC, said Petrelli, who is originally from Pennsylvania. “I’d love to be able to show my friends.”

To publish, the yearbook will need at least 250 orders from Jostens by Feb 14, Petrelli said.
