WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - A public meeting has been scheduled to gather input on the master plan for Rhode Island’s main airport.
The Rhode Island Airport Corporation plans to hold a master plan open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the board room at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick.
The master plan focuses on development to accommodate the predicted demand at the airport over the next 20 years.
The airport corporation said that federal funding for any projects is tied to the availability and timeliness of master plans, making the development of such a plan critical to airport. The corporation is a quasi-public agency responsible for the airport’s operations.
Additional information about the master plan update is available online.
Presentations will be given during the open house around 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and parking will be validated for attendees.
The master plan process is expected to be complete by the end of June.
