DOVER, Del. (AP) - A former National Geographic photographer facing charges of tax evasion has reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors in Delaware.

A judge on Friday scheduled a June 10 change of plea hearing for Bruce Kevin Fleming of Lewes, Delaware. Fleming had previously entered a plea of not guilty.

Fleming was indicted in November on 16 counts of failing to file income tax returns from 2012 to 2016, failing to pay federal taxes withheld from employees of his Lewes photo gallery, and diverting funds from a corporation he set up to pay for personal expenses.

Each offense is punishable by up to five years in prison.

Fleming previously worked as a staff photographer for the News Journal in Wilmington and National Geographic. He has published more than 20 photography books.
